Report on Charity day Celebration 2021-2022

Dear Madam/Sir

Warm greetings,

As per the CBSE Circular No.Acad-86/2021  ,we team Delta  celebrated the charity day on 30/09/2021. The students of our school were intimated  regarding the charity  and through concerned class teacher, we informed the students about helping the poor and downtrodden and we received things like groceries, cookies, and edible things so on.

Many of our students contributed the above mentioned mentioned things as much they can.

Mrs. Josephine  L , the principal of Delta Public school and Mr. R.Surulinathan , the vice principal guided the students to hand over to the old age home.

On 30 thseptemper ,the students from grade IX to XI were asked to go along with teachers  to the different places, where the old age homes were found  around 10 km from school.

All the students were divided into three groups and executed the charity work as given below.

The group 1 – Grade IX and XI boys went to Ramakrishna Seva yoga situated in Ammaiyappan and were guided by Mr.Stalin Mr. Sugendran ,Mrs.Vanithamani and Ms. Kalaimathi  , Assisted by  Mrs. Sheela, Mrs. Maha

The group 2 – Grade IX and XI girls went to ‘ Manolaya ‘ a home for Mentally retarded children situated in Panakattangudi  and were guided by Mrs.  Josephine  Mr. Parameshvaran  ,Mrs.shalini , Mrs. Vaishnavi and Mrs. Gayathri and assisted by  Mr. Mohan .

The group 3 – Grade X boys went to ‘ Manolaya ‘ a home for Mentally retarded boys situated in Kudithangicheri and were guided by Mr. Thirunavukarasu   Mr. L.Sureshkana  Mr. S Arundevan ,  Mrs. Vidya  Ms. Anubha  Ms. Aarthi and assisted by  Mr. Abu , Mrs. Karthiyayine  and Mrs. Ajma .

This program  created a huge impact in students mind and had the learning experience in understanding virtues of charity,sympathy and empathy .
